- 由陳耀鵬牧師主講的「非常道，非常講」課程於7月10日順利完成，當中有20位來自不同堂會的教牧同工和弟兄姊妹參加。讚美主！
- 感謝神帶領 Victor Hui 及 Hanson So弟兄加入我們的義工行列，協助電腦部的工作。倘若工作安排適切，Victor 將會成為 IT 部負責人而 Hanson 則協助性參與。

- 本學院為了服事大温各教會、教牧同工及領袖，特別邀請麥漢勳牧師 (本學院的特約同工) 8月初專程從香港來溫哥華主領一連串聚會。除了與趙牧師一同帶領的「教會領袖高峰會」，並會在8月5日的教牧同工午餐聚會分享、8月8日的公開聚會作講員及主領8月5-7日的「職場事工初探」課程。期間，麥牧師亦會主領温哥華華人浸信會的領袖退修會和分別在烈治文華人播道會和温哥華頌恩堂 (南堂) 作主日證道，請為麥牧師的精神、體力和健康代禱。
- 願神保守及祝福趙牧師在澳洲 Brisbane 和香港兩地的事工。
- 8月20日前往澳洲Brisbane，教授「小組牧養」課程
- 8月25日前往香港開始與中國神學研究院合辦的「神學生領導特質培訓」的計劃，目的是進一步提升教牧領袖的訓練，讓神學生在受訓期間，透過性格分析及個別教練會談，能更早意識到自己個人特質及領導上的取向。期間，趙牧師將會負責以下項目：
- 帶領中神的「牧職實習督導聯席會議」主講: 有效的教練指導
- 教授神學生對性格行為及領導能力與神學進修的關係
- 與所有一年班的道學碩士生作個別教練會談
趙牧師將於9月1日回到溫哥華。 - 請為OnTrack的財政狀況代禱。由1月至7月底的總收入為$57,140；總支出為$61,744；有$4,604的不敷。

- Praise the Lord! The Advance Lay Preaching Course conducted by Rev. Iu-Pang Chan completed smoothly on July 10. We have 20 participants which include pastoral staff and brothers/sisters from various churches.
- Thank God for leading brothers Victor Hui and Hanson So to join the OnTrack team as volunteers in the IT area. If mutually satisfied, Victor will be OnTrack’s IT director (part-time) while Hanson will assist on a project basis.
- Thank God for blessing Rev. Chiu and his family with a joyful and peaceful vacation in mid-July.
- Grateful to God for blessing OnTrack and Rev. Chiu’s various local and overseas ministries.
- Thank God for bringing our co-worker Anliza Lei and her family safely back to Vancouver from Hong Kong in end-July.
Prayer Requests - Please pray for Rev. Chiu’s every need in leading OnTrack, his physical and spiritual health.
- Kindly continue to remember prayerfully our co-worker Patrick Tong’s treatment process in Hong Kong and the need of how to face and adapt to the change for his family.
- May God continue to bless and use OnTrack to effectively serve the pastors and leaders of the greater churches around the world.
- To further OnTrack’s commitment to serve the churches in Greater Vancouver region, we have invited Rev. Alex H.F. Mak (OnTrack’s faculty at large) to come and lead a series of training events in early August. Besides co-leading the “Church Leaders Summit” with Rev. Chiu, Rev. Mak will also speak at the Pastoral Luncheon Meeting on Aug 5, the public meeting on Aug 8 and teach “Marketplace Leadership” course from Aug 5-7. He will also be speaking at Vancouver Chinese Baptist Church’s leadership retreat and preach two times at the Richmond Chinese Evangelical Free Church and South Vancouver Pacific Grace. Please pray for his spirit, energy and health.
- Please pray for Rev. Chiu’s August’s trip to Brisbane (Australia) and Hong Kong.
- Aug 20 : Brisbane (Australia) – teaching a course of "Small Group Shepherding”.
- Aug 25: Hong Kong – to spearhead a joint-project with the China Graduate School of Theology (CGST). The project is on coaching Master of Divinity students. The goal is to offer supports to students based on their specific leadership and personality assessments.
Do pray for the following events which Rev. Chiu will be leading:
- Speaking on the theme of coaching interns at CGST’s annual field directors orientation day.
- Leading a session for freshman Master of Divinity students on the relations between personality profiles / leadership capacity and theological training.
- Personal coaching sessions for all year one M. Div. students.
Rev. Chiu will return to Vancouver on Sep 1. - Kindly pray for OnTrack’s financial situation. From January to end-July, our total income is $57,140; total expense is $61,744; a deficit of $4,604.
