Dear OnTrack Prayer Partners
In May, Core course "Value Based Leadership" of our "Missional Leadership Certificate Program" has been held at Burnaby Pacific Grace Church. 40+ participants from Metro Vancouver learnt about personal and church core values through Rev. Chiu's teachings and question answering. Group discussion has allowed them to apply and deepen what they have learnt, explored their own core values, philosophy of ministry and the core values of their local churches. The course has also gave outliines of how to find the core values of a church. Participants have increased their knowledge on core values. We hope that they can apply what they learn and, discover their personal and church core values thus the reasons behind. In this way, each local church will be strengthened, united in developing ministry and grow spiritually together. June 10-12's "Building an Empowering Team" will be the last OnTrack course before the Summer Break. There are about 40 participants, most of them from different Pacific Grace Churches, including 3-4 teams. The course will focus on the 3 roles in "Peer Serving" - Spiritual friends, teammates and comrades-in-arms. It also provides principles and practical ways to establish strong teams in church so participants not only can build the church up together, but also make that environment an opportunities to grow healthily spiritually for themselves and teammates. May God bless all of them in their learning. Through the years, we thank God for His grace and leadership that OnTrack were able to provide quality training and elevate the quality of leaders. They are built up by knowing more about things related to personal and church core values.
- the completion of all 6 webinars in the first half of 2016. There were around 40 peoples participated in the 2 sessions of June 1's "Be a spiritual friend of one another", and through Rev. Enoch's presentation and Q&A, they know more about spiritual friends and how to make it happen.
- Being with the pastors who joined "Fueling Station for Pastors", leading them to learn more about how others view them through PFP and classes, helping them them to support one another in their transformation according to God's wills.
- Empoweing our president Rev. David Chiu to finish his ministries in Canada and HK, including the beginning of "Lifepath" in 2 secondary school in HK.
- Empowering our vice-prsident Rev. Enoch Yim for his completion of his Doctoral Degree at Carey Theological College, and will graduate this month.
- Blessing and guiding the sons of 3 OnTrack coworkers - David's son Timothy, Agnes' son Edmond and Victor's son Ivan - in completing their high school studies, and starting their University studies in Hong Kong and Vancouver this September. May God mold them into His servant leaders in the next few years.
